About Patrisia:

I am originally from Los Angeles; CA. I began my career in the nonprofit industry when I was 18 years old as a Program Leader for the Los Angeles Unified School District. I worked for LA’s BEST for about 10-12 years. During my time with LA’s BEST, I worked my way up to Activities Consultant, and Site Supervisor overseeing multiple sites with afterschool programming. I then moved on to other paths that were similar in the nonprofit world for Long Beach Unified, and lastly Santa Ana’s THINK Together. With over 20 years of staff development, programming coordinating, and site supervision, experience, I now realize it all prepared me for this position at the Delhi Center.

I have four amazing boys. All which are SAHS alumni or current students. I have an amazing 82-year-old mom who is supportive and very active. And yes, I am her favorite and baby (tough chance my siblings will see this).

Finding Delhi:

The Delhi Center has been another rewarding place I have been able to share my experiences and skills with, but most importantly, a place where I have learned so much more than ever imagined. Having the most amazing CEO, Jenny Rios, teaching, preparing, and molding me to the leader I am today, I cannot thank the Delhi Center enough for all that it has provided me with. It is why, I want to ensure I give back tenfold in every way possible. From the seniors in our socialization program, our teens, our children in our non-school day camps, and our clients who seek us for services that otherwise they could not attain, the Delhi Center is a place I can wholeheartedly call, a haven for all.

Favorite Event, Activity, or Program the Delhi Offers and Why:

My favorite event is the Holiday Gift Giveaway and Resource Event in December. Seeing the beautiful smiles on children faces, is the ultimate recipe for a happy soul.
